Stephanie Cowdrey is the founder and principal designer of Velvet Oak Home, a design studio known for creating homes that feel layered, timeless, and deeply lived in.
Raised on a farm surrounded by gardens and towering oak trees, Stephanie developed an appreciation for warmth, texture, and the quiet beauty of home—an influence that continues to shape her work more than twenty-five years later.
After a five-year sabbatical, she returned to design with renewed perspective and a deeper understanding of home as a place of comfort, restoration, and connection.
