The Archive

Before Velvet Oak Home became what it is today, there were years spent inside unfinished homes, paint-covered clothes, wallpaper scraps on the floor, furniture being moved by hand, and long days learning every detail that makes a house feel like home.

This archive is a collection of those early years — past projects, behind-the-scenes moments, evolving styles, and the work that shaped me as a designer. Some rooms reflect the trends of their time. Others still hold the timeless warmth and texture I continue to chase today.

What matters most to me is not perfection, but the journey. These images represent decades of hands-on experience, growth, creativity, and a lifelong love of homes that tell a story.

Long before social media portfolios and curated feeds, there were real homes, real clients, and real work happening behind the scenes.

This is where it all began.
